What happened in Florida was simple; the black were told to vote for Gore for president, and for pat Buchanan for vice president since he had a black vice president. Since such vote is impossible, and since those black don’t know it, the ballet wasn’t count and rightly so. For democracy to work, people need to be informed. If they don’t know that such a vote is impossible, their votes would be counted. That’s why Gore lost it in the Federal Supreme Court.
