The days of the guy in the trench coat and wide brim hat placing markers on mail boxes to designate a drop off point are strictly for Hollywood movies and Robert Ludlum books. In the real world, information is encrypted, sent from a hotmail account in an internet café and masked behind an MP3 song or JPG file. When retrieved, it is authenticated and signed-verified back to the sender. Stories of the FBI taking photos of a 'handler' passing along sensitive files are for public consumption and to sway public opinion. Whatever the case, this affair spells bad news for American Jews and for Israelis on the whole. The only reason why there were no arrests made so far is either because there is no concrete evidence or because the damage caused by the passing along of information does no harm to American interests and the damage of prosecution is not worth the fallout it would cause.
