No Settler, as anti-disengagement as he may be, would prefer the ''mercy'' and ''understanding'' of the Palestinians over the forced removal by the IDF. And everyone knew this - the Settlers included. The entire resistance was never meant to succeed. If anything, it was a huge propaganda and public relations spectacle to make the point how painful it is to give up land to the Palestinians. Think about it - the Settlers were always aware of this contradiction. הגב לתגובה זו          לא נכון         דורית,  השפלה,    21/08/05 20:37 המתנחלים הם אנשים עם אמונה חזקה (לדעתי מוטעית, אבל חזקה) בצדקת מעשיהם ולדעתי הרבה מהם האמינו עד הרגע האחרון שיקרה משהו למנוע את ההתנתקות ושאם הם ידבקו לאדמה הם יישארו שם. נכון שהם תלויים בצה''ל, אבל לדעתי הרבה מהם האמינו שזה לא יכול לקרות להם. הגב לתגובה זו              יש גבול לנאיביות, והם לא מטומט  ל"ת              Crumbs,  TA,    22/08/05 05:18 הגב לתגובה זו
