Jala'al a Ddin , people say , wrote a message to an erudite friend in Fes (Al Maghrib) .In this style : Inna Al / Magha'riba hamiir Al / masha'rika : which says that the Morrocans are donkeys to the orientals.To which the erudite from Fes responded :Inna Al / Magha'riba , hamiiruHUM : Al Masha'rika .''just by adding HUM .Now it sounds :The Moroccans ,consider the orientals as their donkeys

I am deeply moved and impressed by the article .I have keen interest in Sufism :A'Tassawuf and in Mawlana Jala'l a ddin Muhammed Rumi 's odes :Ghazals . My request is : Can you pls enlighten me if Rumi was inspired by Omar Khayyam :'s Rubbaiyat .There is a great lyric similarity in their style endowed with wit and of highest natural powers. To me , Rubaiyat are sublime and inspiring .They overshadowed Omar immense talent in Math and astronomy (He designed the mulim calendar) i
