I live in Canada and two years ago my wife and I bought a brand new home. On signing at the notary, the inspector join us with the keys to inspect and check everything in the house.
The house was beautifully painted (standard white) the baseboard had a slightly different white (again, standard, no extra). The house was spotless, the floors vacuumed and washed, the windows were washed, the kitchen cabinets completely clean and the Granite counter had a special coating put on to protect it.
On the kitchen counter was a huge basket with some very tasty treats like jams and special coffees and two $100 gift certificates to two different restaurants.
Just so you know, this is a standard town house, nothing fancy.
Here, the contractor hires a special cleaning team before he/she delivers each house
That's how you deliver a home to a client
