I am amazed that while reading a Hebrew text I have to translate it to....... Hebrew.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary there are about 250,000 English words. According to some estimates there are about 80,,000 Hebrew words.
The average English speaking person uses about 5.000 words.
Asuming that number is similar in the Hebrew language community, 80,000 words should be sufficient in order to NOT use foreign words in Israel.
